Hunting with LAR-15 Magazines

In Nova Scotia, for hunting, centrefire semi-automatic rifles are limited to five round magazines - no exceptions.

You could use your (ten-round) LAR-15 magazine for hunting, but - unless your rifle was a manual action (such as a Remington 7615) - you'd have to plug the magazine (to five).

I used to own an AR 180B, which is a non-restricted semi-automatic action different from the AR15 but takes standard AR15 and LAR-15 magazines.
(decent article if you are unfamiliar: http ://carteach0.########.com/2008/09/armalite-ar180b-piston-powered-from.html )

I would load several different rounds to have different tips (bullets) with as close as possible to the same trajectory. I always went hunting coyotes with 3 fully loaded LAR-15 Mags and I never had a problem with RCMP and/or COs.
