Hunting With Milsurp

Took a small whitetail buck with an SKS years ago just to see how it worked.

Well it was a one shot kill at about 70 yards so I would say it worked very well.

I've used a few in; 6.5x55, 7x57, 7.62x39, 7.62x54r, 303 Br, 8x56r, 8x57.

An early 96 6.5 Swede was my favorite hunting rig for a while. The only additions being a tuned trigger and a Williams peep. Shot groups as small as 3/4" with it, usually around 1.5".
Killed at least 4 deer and a few grouse with it(using a Hammond Game Getter).
Awesome rifle, so smooth it almost reloaded on its own!
