Has anyone on here hunted with a 50bmg? I've googled and only found military vid's of 50bmg's shooting people ... anyone point me to a youtube video or guys hunting with a 50??? Thanks,

Yes with some 750 grain explosive tipped bullets it works awesome. You only need to try to find the rack afterwards. The rest is gone therefore no slugging your butt off to drag meat back to the truck........

The old trophy bulls ain't that great but I've heard the young'uns were excellent fare. So Otokiak, you looking for a trophy or an eater?
I'm going to make a concerted effort to go and harvest a couple cariboo with mine this fall.

I shot one two yrs ago that was a young bull. I don't care for a large trophy ... I wanna eat some good snitz. HAHA. There's still approx 20 tags left so lots of time. I gotta make a case for this rifle to put in my box on my qamutiq.

p.s. KDX, it's like roast beef in my opinion ... similiar texture.
