Huskemaw 5-30x56LR ?

Should have mentioned I’m a hunter. Not a PRS shooter. All nice scopes on the list but none of them interest me. The Huskemaw is built by hunters for hunters! ( Have to watch best of the west for that line right Cody C!). Anyways I bought the Huskemaw thanks to the info from people that actually own one! I will update once I get it.
4ptredneck.

Yes that may well be, but look at the features and magnification range compared to the one youve inquired about. They are direct completion and 100% apples to apples. Ironic you bring up that your a hunter, not a prs shooter yet your buying a scope marketed specifically for target/tactical shooting. They may be for hunter by hunters but they are catering to a different market than the hunting crowd with this scope. Yes any scope you slap on your hunting rifle is a hunting scope, but one with unusable upper magnification under field conditions, a wastefully large objective lens, mounted sky high with exposed turrets is a less than ideal choice, especially for te thick timber of the Prince George area (live ere too) I didn't like mine, both long gone, I see an exchange in your near future with you being able to directly compare as you will be able to.

Yes but they are all very similar in features and magnification range to the one youve inquired about. I didn't like mine, both long gone, I see an exchange in your near future with you being able to directly compare as you will be able to.

Did you have the 5-20 or 5-30 Huskemaw? Big change in glass apparently. I know there all comparible but it’s the reticles I don’t like. Love the moar reticle and the leupold tmr and Tmoa. I’ve looked through some 5-20 Huskemaws and also liked the reticle in them. Glass seamed pretty good too but never really got to test them. I’ll try it and if anything at least I’ll get to give a good review. Your the first one that’s given me a negative! Thanks

just to give you an option when your in visiting Omar look thru the Swarovski Z5 3.5-18 x 44 better glass lower turrets and all most 20 oz's lighter!! now you have a hunting scope that can get you out long range if the need arises but you will be required to order a turret for it they are cheap. I have 2 of these scopes 1 on a 338 edge and the other on a 300 WM love them and by the sounds of it cheaper than your 2K please don't get me wrong love night force have some of those but if you are trying to save weight and don't want to compromise on glass they will be hard to beat.

I hope it works for what I need it for too. I will be able to directly compare it with other high end optics such as nightforce, zeiss and swavorski as myself and the guys I shoot with all own them. The company I bought the Huskemaw from also gave me the option to return it and directly trade it in for a NXS if they don’t think it compares. (They where really confident it would!) So I really have nothing to lose. Should see it in a couple weeks so I’ll let you guys now what I think.

This sounds pretty good no risk.
I wonder how it went?

I own a Huskemaw 5-20 Blue diamond and for the price I think they aren't bad for the money. My only beef is the reticle but it has been designed to do what it was intended for. I also own a hand full of NF SHV's, NXS, Atacar's, Kahles and shot behind S&B's, TT and Premiers. Are they "High end" glass like the others I own? No I wouldn't rate them beside my Kahles but is it half the glass for less than half the price? No I wouldn't say so.

I haven’t received mine yet. I’m hoping by next week. I did however get to play with one on a 338 snipetac and I can tell you right now I am thoroughly impressed. The only downfall I can tell you is the elevation turret is ginormous! The dual turret system is awesome and the glass is just as good as any high end optic I’ve looked through. I am happy with my decision and i don’t even have mine yet! I’ve also learned that the glass in the 5-20 Huskemaw isn’t even comparable to the 5-30. Reason for twice the price!
