Huskemaw

You will have to pay to get one imported.

They are rumored to be NOT as good as Greybull Precision(which is acually a Leupold). Greybull uses the same style calibrated dial.

Basically there is nothing special about either scope. All it is is a dial that is marked with the trajectory of your load, which in most cases will give you around 6-700 yards by turning your dial.

Leupold has same option available on alot of their models called the CDS (custom dial system).

In fact if you goto

Not sure if they are a supporting dealer so I broke the link.

They have Leupold Canadians with the same type of Laser engraved dials that the Huskemaw and Greybull Precision scopes use.

They will also make you a custom dial that is calibrated to the trajectory of your load. That way you could move your scope from rifle to rifle and switch dials and be good to go once your zeroed again.

The CDS dials can also be made to work with alot of different models if you want to get higher mag scope like VX III or Mark IV.

I had talked to Tim @ Corlane Sporting Goods and he said that as well. He was interested in putting them head to head with other brands to see how they stack up. Supposedly they sold 15 already and have 20 more coming in in the next two weeks or so.

I have seen one and they didn't look that bad, the clarity was pretty good all the way up to 20x. I also liked the reticle. I haven't seen any night force or greybull precision so as it compares that way I do not know.

I did some digging around.

Huskemaw.

Made in China.

Glass is not on par with Higher end Leupolds or Zeiss.

Price would be around $1300 CAD.

Better options available out there.

If you are stuck on getting a engraved dial just get a Leupold from Korth with CDS and you will have bullet proof warranty vs. a scope that may have to be shipped back to U.S.A etc.

There is discussion going on here.
