Husky 96 9.3 X 62 starting point

Try RL15 and 250 grains AccuBond combo. It works great in most rifles. If you want a 285 grainer, then, go to PPU as they're cheap. Same powder works great, so does BLC (2), Varget, H-335, H-380, H/IMR 4895 and on and on... A powder / bullet that works is not hard to find in that caliber. Be careful with internet loads as the M/94/96/38 magzine is short and you will have to seat the bullet deeper into the case.

If you're new to it my best suggestion is to get the Hodgdon load datas center or to get yourself a up-to-date relaoding manual (say, from the manufacturer of the bullets you want to use).

I've been reading all I can find about the 9.3, I would like to stick to 250 gr. for now anyway, the two most popular powders seeem to be Reloader 15 or BLC, the 250 accubonds would be good if I can find some. 9.3 bullets are far and few. I found some 250 RN Woodliegh's at $64 per 50 plus shipping Yikes!

Check out Trade Ex website, they have most brands of 9.3 bullets in stock. But do not expect "cheap" as in .308 caliber bullets, simply because the 9.3 bullets weight close to twice their weight.
Even the AB are not given...

Good tip on the tradex web site they have all kinds of goodies and as you mentioned when you shoot one of these you are actually
two regular bullets I went for the Woodleigh 250 gr. RN should be good moose medicine!
