Husquvarna identification.

A coworker has a Husquvarna he wants to sell off, it was his fathers and is chambered in 308.

Serial number is 102745 but I haven't been able to find anything on identification.

Any help on model or value would be appreciated. I'll get a pic up as soon as I can

I'd suspect it was built on the FN large ring action. A quick pic would help confirm which model.

Looks like a 640 with a beech stock. Solid rifles (stocks often crack or chip) but not worth a lot of money.

Yup, just like mine in 270 (144,### series). Really really good rifles, if a little heavy compared to today's Tupperware stocked guns.

Weight doesn't worry me too much, still using steel pipewrenches at work.
More interested in how they shoot and what it may be worth. He's a good guy and I would like to be fair.

Best I could get for mine somewhat identical to yours was just over $400 at our
gun show a few years back.
I figured it for a $500 set up with the old Bushnell 4X on it.
