Does anyone know about this rifle? I have a chance to pick one up 6.5 X55 swede. Good shape. Ive heard alot of good things about the "Husky" but Ive never owned one.

Probably the best Mauser rifle ever made IMHO. I used to own 10 of the Husky M38's. They were all tack drivers. I still got two of them, one bubba'd and one original in mint condition. If you find one for a reasonable price, I'd highly recommend getting one. Since Sweden was not involved in WWI and WWII, these rifles have never seen combat and are usually in very good to excellent condition
I had one 20 years ago, unfortunatley I sold it to fund other projects, after I bought it I sold my 243 winchester because I felt the Husky was a superior rifle. You won't go wrong with one of these.
