I love these rifles just my eyes can't pick up the sights anymore. I had a couple rimfires with hexagon barrels I loved and always wanted the 2520 but I gave up on the dream and sold my rimfires. They sold quick to
Thanks! I'm very happy with the condition of it.Great looking rifle! Congrats!
Thanks! I have another single shot husky in 22 wrf that I had purchased a while back, yes basically a beefed up version of the rim fire.Looks much like the single shot Huskies in 22LR that InterSurplus handles occasionally. I got one from Trade Ex years ago. It's accurate, and very dainty and light. The best really light 22 I've ever handled. I'm envious of your 30.30.
Yes, it is in excellent condition. For the age, the case hardening is still quite visible which is really nice. I'd think, reloadind something like a 30 cal 150 gr bonded or interlock will really be interesting.Really fine condition, better than most!
I don't know why it would not be OK to use any standard .30-30 ammunition. You could also handload pointed bullets.
It would be really really fun to configure this rifle for cast lead target shooting - the heavy barrel is perfect for that. A globe front with inserts and an aperture rear - low-pressure 3031 loads ...So was looking at a auction sight the other day and a rifle caught my eye.
