Husqvarna FN 98 floorplate

Does anyone know if the FN 98 Huskies on the Trade Ex website have hinged floor plates?

It doesn't say anywhere that they do which makes me curious.

Hinged floorplate

I have one of Del's floorplates. Aluminum, but very sturdy. You have to do a little inletting work. Worth the $45.

Yes they do have hinged floor plates. They probably assume everyone would know that.

Huh! - Mine certainly does not - its the standard military style. The newer Huskies with the Husky built action (1600 series...) have a hinged floorplate.

Totally un-needed addition, but worst case, retrofit a M1909 Argentine floorplate

My 1953 Husquvarna has the military style where you need to poke a cartridge tip in there. My two Enfields (P14 and M17) are like that and my Remington Model 700 is a top loader/unloader too.

No big deal.

My only hinged floorplate if you want to call it that is my $49.99 MN 91/30.

The FN husky 98 I bought from Tradex has the military style floorplate. I would call Anthony and ask as it probably varies with which gun your looking at.

This piece from Brownells is a huge improvement over the military style release. Easy to install too.
