Husqvarna question

Was wondering if the Husqvarna are based on the Mauser M95 action or the M98 small ring action?

Older commercial Husqvarnas were based upon the either the 96 small ring action (with a few 94s thrown in) or FN produced Mauser 98 large ring actions.

I'm not sure about the later models (1900 etc), but there's lots of info on these rifles at the forum dealing with Swedish commercial and hunting firearms at Gunboards.com.

Depends on when they were made mostly.

My 1953 has an FN 98 action.

The model 1900 was a push feed action of Husqvarna's own design.
