Hello I have two husky rifles, a m96 9.3x57 and a fn98 in 8x57. Both seen to have the factory stocks. My question deals with scope mounting on both rifles. the fn98 model is d&t with weaver bases I have mounted an older scope on it but haven't fired it yet. The scope is a 3-9x32 i wonder what are the best height rings to mount the scope. I am using low weaver rings and it looks ok . What are you guys using for ring heights? I want to get the m96 d&t and mount a scope on it. I know most rifles have higher cheek pieces than the husky's so I think the lowest ringers would be best but I could be wrong. Any help would be great thanks.

If you have a side safety or low swing safety then use whatever rings allow your eye to center in the scope while you maintain a good cheek weld. If that interferes with your bolt then obviously you'll need higher rings.
