You now need to take it out and get a moose...
Well, the .308 Win chambering is less common than the .270 ....
Good job on the moose. I had no luck (full moon) for my first moose hunting trip this year... I wish the .358 NM spits some lead in the coming weeks...
Thanks!Huntin' gun,
I really love your newest one. I check out TradeEx quite often and I don't remember seeing that one. Did they just get that one in and you gobbled it up or are they not listing everything they have. A 1600 in 6.5x55 seems to be my Holy Grail.
OK,
For all those guys who can't resist the occasion to post their HVA rifles, here you go.
Mod, maybe this can be a sticky if you will, it will save all the Q & A about the HVA rifles models and calibers.
I'll start with these, as a teaser;
A 1651 Special (caliber .358 NM)

A 30-06 1600 Std (early 1640) besides a late (FN M/98) 648 - Cal. 8X57

From left to right;
1956 Sako Hi-Power (FN 300 (to be Supreme), a 1640 series (actually an American model 3000 Crown Grade, in .308 win), a Brno 21H, a 649 (Early, M/38 base, "Commercial" action) in cal. 9.3X62 and finally a 1929 M/46 in 9.3X57 (Carl Gustav made M/94 action), of course.
