Husqvarna Sporting Rifles #### - ALL MODELS!!!

I have it laying somewhere here but you can take Zoli 1900 manual, they have the bolt disassembled and the parts references.
I didn't look for the bolt parts on how they fit when I had a Zoli 1900 in hands, but from visual inspection, apart from the added safety features ont the Zoli (release button) it looked quite identical (but no one really knows before trying).

I picked up this beauty 9.3x57 just before Christmas.. I have no idea what model it is or year of production. Here’s some pics.

Yes, Buckrush is right, it's a 146. It's seems to be in VG condition. From the SN, it was made in 1938, and the 146 were made 1937-1941.

Awesome thanks for the info, appreciate it! I’ve only shot about 8 rounds of 285gr lead out of it.. looking to get some more rounds down the pipe once it warms up. Hope to take a moose with it in the fall..

Looks like it's been reworked hard.

What makes you say that? Looks like a steal of a deal at $350 lol.

Very nice wood!

Agreed, this one will stay unmolested. The bluing is crazy good except for a couple scratches on the barrell.. have my eye on another one with a garbage stock and want to drop it into a hogue stock.

^ It's not original or unmolested. IMHO the wood was refinished and the "blueing" looks like paint/coating to me.

Check the last picture where it shows the serial number. Theres a thumbprint which seems embedded into the paint/coating.

I might be wrong, just going by your pictures...

Nevertheless, it's a good looking rifle and if you got it like that for $350,- it was a good deal to boot.

Does anyone know when Husqvarna marketed these Japanese-made scopes?

To me, they look like they came out of the same factory that supplied Bushnell. So sometime in the 1960's or early 70's?

They were made by Hakko and are just rebranded scopes made in the late 60's and '70s when HVA was at the end of the roll and most likely a tad after the sale to FFV.

285gr cast lead?

Would be interested to know which mold you are using. I have done some loading with heavy cast bullets in the 9.3X 62 with very satisfactory results: 2200 fps, and two inch groups at 100 yards.

I did not cast them , they were acquired in a package deal with the dies brass and loading info… I did just acquire a Lyman casting kit and Winchester 94 3030 from the same fellow so I’ll ask about the mould he used.

Fair enough, if it’s paint it was done fairly well because that’s the only imperfection on it. Now that you say that I may not feel so bad about getting it drilled and tapped for mounts haha.
