I am curious have you ever bought any from inter-surplus?. If so what was your experience with them?.
Does it makes them bad for that reason?
I mean I have an old Danzig Mauser 98 in 8x57(s) that was most likely “sporterized by a guilt gunsmith in Germany a lonnnnnnnng time ago, it was my he bought it when he was 15-16 years old he is now 84, the bore is not that shinny, it has an old tasco fix 4x on it and I still kill moose with it and shot a few nice tight group( moa or better with it) dad didn’t use it anymore then it went to an uncle that used it a bit and sat for many years and then it came into my hand and I think it is still a great rifle!
Sure I can, but I don’t get it, what I mean is every rifle brand out there have the pros and cons, but to me if the rifle feel good looks good and shoot good I don’t see a problem.
Ruger 77 tang safety…. Post 64 Winchester mod 70… savage axis… Ruger something something gen1 and 2… Remington pump and semi. You know what I mean?!?

That being said, there is nothing wrong with a well done factory sporter conversion (Husky with the Swedes; Parker-Hale with enfield rifles); most were above average shooters, and better fit and finish than modern rifles; certainly of more robust build.
Here is my Husky 9.3 x 62 (FN Commercial action just like Parker Hale used in many of their higher grade rifles.)
wow,lots of hate for the intersurplus used rifles .There not for everyone some should buy new but if you know you know.Some great rifles to be had in my opinion,old world craftsmanship at reasonable cost and then there’s the nostalgia of just holding one of these old guns,like I said if you know you know there not for everyone
Re-read what I wrote to you before. If you are looking for a 250 $ rifle, then, that's what you get, end of the roll or bin bottom.
The rare / exotic / obsolete calibers are collector items, and so are most of these rifles, everyone with simple idea of hunting rifles knows it at first.
And so you know, 9.3x57 have killed almost everything in Canada from cattle to polar bear to moose, deer, bears, wolves, coyotes and even foxes and continue to do so every season.
It's evident you have no clue why these guns are coming here. Let me school you;
In Sweden, the law stipulates that you can't own more than 10 guns, rilfes and shotguns TOTAL. So older guns are being replaced.
The young hunters already have some guns and when elders pass away, they donno what to do with the guns. As simple as it.
So what's your point?
What do you try to achieve here?
Who do you try to convince?
Why do you make us spend our time?
