Anybody knows where I can service my HW45 around GTA?

I need to take the barrel out and don't have replacements for the 2 screws which will probably be a pain to take out.

All you need to do is find a proper allen key and undo the two screws that hold the plate over the barrel, the barrel will slide right out. I took mine apart a few weeks ago to lube it up, it was easy to put back together.

I have actually tried to undo them, but gave up when the allen key started to round the edges.

What size key did you use?

2mm seems a little loose in mine and 2.5mm does not fit.....if I was removing mine I think I'd file down a 2.5mm till it fit tight.

I've had good luck with a product called "screw grab" when I've had to remove touch fasteners with worn heads.....Lee Valley sells it.

I'm not really sure, I just scrownged around in a bag of keys, i'm pretty sure it was a metric size since it is a german pistol...

You would think that a simple allen key would be included with a pistol sold for over 4 bills!!!
 
I managed to remove one of the screws with a new 2mm key, but unfortunately I rounded the other one.
Drilling or slotting is the next step to try to get that out, unless I find a tool.
