Hydrodipping!

I entered a draw with Canadian Hydrographics Art at the last Chilliwack gun show they are located in Surrey, BC http://hydrodippingart.com/

A few days after the show I received a call telling me that I had won the 3rd prize of 25% off any hydrodipping job I wanted done = who am I to pass up on a discount so I'm going to give it a try.

I have an old Ruger M77 tang safety rifle chambered in 22-250 that my grandfather had given me appr 37 years ago with 34.5grs IMR 3031 & 50gr V-Max bullets I get 3880fps and crazy accuracy so I'm going to get them to do this old stock with KUIU Vais camo.

Just yesterday, I brought a lh Savage 93 stock in to BrokenTine in Cochrane AB. Met the owner at the Calgary show a couple weeks ago. Cost will be $170 +/- .

Seems a bit high to me but looks like he does good work so am giving it a go. I have several more stocks that I may dip if it turns out, owner says he'll discount repeat orders.

As this stock is from one of my lh .17M2's, it'll be used primarily in the gopher fields so I went with a tan based digital camo.

I saw their work at the gun show as well. I grabbed of their pamphlet that said "bring in for discount". I plan on bringing them my Montana stock to be done in Kuiu Verde in the next few months.
