Hydrodipping?

I have been very curious about water transfers for a while.
I understand it is how they apply graphics to ATV so it should be plenty durable on my rifles.

I've talked to the guys at Cobra and looked at a video of the process. Depending on the size of piece you want to dip you would need a big water tank. He also has quite a few jigs that he secures pieces on as so he can dip them completely without hydrodipping his hands at the same time!

The process looks simple but requires pretty good control to get a good job.

I believe he sprays a couple coats of sealer on the finished product to create a hard, scratch resistant surface.

He has some pretty flashy patterns.

"...doesn't say anything about DIY kits..." Suspect Cobra isn't in that kind of business. Seem to recall seeing the process on some TV program. Not a DIY thing as I recall. Wouldn't cost you to contact 'em and ask though.

In the black rifle forum, I made a thread called Swiss arms classic multicam. It's a review of the professionnal service and a guy give links to DIY.
