Hypothetical question

Eventually the Liberals and NDP will try and restrict/ban all the big calibre long range rifles... along with all semi automatic rifles and shotguns and work their way down to single shot .22's. Only then will they rest. And they keep getting elected...

I'd call it the .50 AntiLib myself LOL although .50 OIC is fitting too.
none of these mods will help GM6 Lynx owners..... but I don't know any of those.....

face the barrel back one turn. It will now not chamber a 50 bmg. You have a wildcat and can name it whatever you want and set your ballistic parameters for it so it is under the maximum. It is your wildcat, sammi or cip have no specs for it.

The brown shirts will take it anyways just to dole out a bit of hassle. You might get it back later.

Just curious how you're getting your prohibited rifle to the gunsmith now that transportation of your prohibited rifle is prohibited....

Unless you have the equipment and the ability to do it yourself. Which most people don't.

It was a good idea though.

This whole thing makes me want to :puke:

Luckly i do, and setting the barrel and shoulder back a mm was my plan for my 500j and 460wm the day the OIC came out. Then i figured id leave my rifles as is until more comes of this. Not making any changes right now.

Lots of hangup on capable vs able too using the set max laod.

The old 45-120 black powder wont break 10k J but id bet full of smokeless it would. So is capable of a full case of pistol powder? Yes. But is it really able to make that energy with any factory ammo/ loaded properly? No.

A lot of big game rifles can handle high pressure proof loads that would be over 10kj. Where does it say it has to be factory ammo or out of a loading manual? You can't assume anything with these clowns. Fortunately, if you have the gear to remove barrels from actions, all is legal just by taking it apart.
