I am pretty stoked about this semi-auto next-genneration Beretta 12ga Defensive Shotgun. A piston-driven design, the new Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol should be above all, reliable. Building on the success of the 1301, the Ultima is a new design in the Beretta Defensive shotgun lineup. Available finished in a US Airforce-style Gray Tiger Stripe camouflage pattern, the A300 is a formidable looking design. I am all over the Tiger Stripe and hope that Canada's Beretta distributor will jump on these NR beauties right away. The MSRP is $1200 USD,, so figure at least $1800 landed in Canadaa with brokerage, etc. Capacity is 9 rounds with one "ghost-loaded" on the Lifter and one in the Chamber. Weight is a mere 7.1 lbs or roughly 3 kg. The self-regulating gas piston operation is already tried and tested as part of Beretta's Hunting lineup.
