Just waiting on the transfer to finish up, hoping to have it late next week. Bought off the EE for a decent price.

I've read reviews and watched YouTube on this gun (.45ACP). Big, heavy.... hold 9 rounds of .45 in the mag. Seems like a tank, but a reliable tank.

My questions are: what am I in for? Who sells accessories (mags, grips, etc).... :dancingbanana::dancingbanana::runaway::redface:

Lol. Get some paper bags, and put the bag over the gun when you shoot it, so you don't get distracted by its ugliness, the only gun that's uglier is Hi-point carbine..
Always wondered why/how that gun is still on the market.

Opinions are like a$$holes everyone got one :)

I actually like the concept of this gun. Apparently they are reliable, and even if you get a lemon, they have a lifetime warranty. Not sure how the warranty works in Canada, I assume it simply doesn't. It is ugly as sin, as some sacrifices had to be made to keep the price down. Cant talk that much #### about a 100 dollar pistol after all.

my first handgun was a high point (.45) heavy, ugly, people laughed at me for owning it, I felt like a cheap bastard because it was all I could afford at that time. I will say this though, my high point went bang every time, no FTF or any functional issues what so ever. I put damn near 500 rounds through mine flawlessly. as far as I am aware the only accessories for them are found coming from the high point warehouse.

I had a hi-point 40 Cal. Shot great. After first time out I noticed the firing pin was bent. I called the company which I think is in Ohio, told them what the problem was and within a week I had a new firing pin, spring and a couple other parts delivered to my door in Canada. Great service. \never had another problem with the gun. At the range, others looked at it and thought it looked ugly but once they got their hands on it, they loved the way it shot. Finally, after buying a few more .40 caliber guns, I sold it to my brother and he is still shooting it and loves it. Don't worry about the haters, use it and have fun!!!

Hey, don't let them razz ya too hard. Really no uglier than a glock. And they are supposed to tougher than nails. The torture tests I've seen are pretty extreme. Go shoot the heck out of it.

They can razz all they want.... but at the end of the day I still have one and they don't..... haters gonna hate...

There are lots of videos about them on youtube.
How to do a 5 minute mod to a 1911 mag and make it work like a charm in the hi point.

You can change the spring for the trigger and make it lighter ( another video ).
They are heavy, look like an electric drill, feel comfortable for most hands,
reliable & accurate.
I enjoyed mine.
