Oh, funny guy.

I was thinking of going to the range again today, you know, get right back up on the horse. Maybe this time I should take something a little lighter, like the 25-20.:D

Joe, I got kissed a time or two with my 375 H&H, but in the beak. Never drew blood, just saw stars.

Another advantage I see with your rest as compared to a Lead Slaed is the rifle is steady for the shot, but still moves with the shooter. I sometimes wonder if the rests that hold the rifle from moving at all put too much force on the stock and make them more suceptable to cracking, like our beloved 1899's and the 98 Mauser too.

I have the Lohman magnum sight vise. It is filled with the lead shot but you can adjust the clamps to hold just enough for a steady shot, and still let the rifle move atad under recoil so you can take the punishment instead of the stock doing all the work. I know it isn't perfect for getting the utopian groups at the range but I'd rather that than a crack at the wrist.

Sounds like Mad Dog is going to have to resort to Eskimo kisses and perhaps learn the fine art of a Butterfly kiss too! LOL

Hey Joe, both the gun and the shells look familiar.............

If you were not so damned far away I could come up to visit and be a real buddy looking after the wife-kissing part for you.....

;-)

Fat lip beats scope eye I am thinking..........but I do not wish to test this theory..........
