I had initially ordered the receiver sets, but converted my order to the full mlok rifle shortly afterwards upon hearing the arms east news about releasing fully configured 308 rifles.

I had initially thought about a build in 308 using the stag receivers, but my bcl rifle is now turning into my build rifle (due to the many reasons I posted here) and I will get a stag mlok 308 full rifle instead.

Ive seen the videos online from our southern neighbors and I must say I was impressed.

So I am now only waiting for the rifle to be shipped!

Oh, the excruciating wait...

But I was in rush ,so I’ve decided to sell this one and build another.
I’m going for a lightweight, hard hitting.308

I'm just waiting for parts and news on barrels.
First build will be on my arms east receiver set that arrived already.
Parts enroute:
Stag Arms QPQ BCG
Stag Arms Charging handle (for now)
Stag Rifle buffer assembly - tube, spring, buffer
Custom buttstock
Diamondhead VRS T .308H 15" handguard with dpms barrel nut
and I got lots of mags already

still need....
a .308 guardian barrel from maple ridge armory...... OR if I can get one made, a .338 federal
slr rifleworks or similar quality low profile adjustable gas block.
not sure what optic yet but this rifle will be for hunting the thick stuff inside 300 yards as a calling/stand hunting/stalking rifle

also have lots of factory federal 210 nosler partition , sized brass, bullets, powder, dies, primers..... all ready to go for the .338 federal so really hoping to go that route.

Just a heads up, but the supplied CH is kinda small if your using a scope,

I’m trying to find an Aero precision CH, which is supposed to be the best option, when using a scope.

cool man thanx for the heads up. I think I will be okay with what I have planned and need a longer eye relief optic anyways.
I forgot to add front and rear flip up irons so will need the optic to be ahead of the rear sight mount anyways
I might also go with the 45 degree offset mount for the sights as well, haven't decided yet.
Leupold tactical prismatic is what I was contemplating using for an optic but have not really decided yet.
My guess is this rifle will mainly be shooting at big game under 100 yards and probably a great deal closer but want the optics to excel out to 300 with simple recticle like the tactical prismatic.
So many options LOL

I'm going to be waiting a while since I just put in my order on a Stag10. I went with the GI Model. Only plan so far is to put a 4-16x44 Vortex Diamondback Tactical on it.

Badger tactical latch. Inexpensive and works well. I prefer the gen1. Under $20 and takes 2 minutes to install on your existing charging handle.
