After a 6 month wait to get my PAL, that plus 6 months of lurking on CGN i Just ordered a 12.5 Grizzly Mag, 3 rough use knives, 2 extra mags......... aaaaaand a Hatsan MPA.

What type of product/brand do you guys recommend for cleaning and maintenance on these shottys? Im going to do a trip top Cabelas this weekend. Something to get the factory gunk off and and for general maintenance.

SFRC always shipps fast... Canam, not so fast. But it'll show worry not.

About the cleaning, I like G96 for my cleaning needs. It seems to do a good job. Have a good look around when there, there's lots if options. As far as oil, a lot of ppl are using froglube. It's a good lube. I prefer archoil myself. I get mine from select shooting supplies(site sponser). They've got lots if good cleaning products as well. Don't cheap out on a cleaning rod, I use a one peace rubber coated rod for my shotguns cause I know she ain't gonna snap at the threads if some elbow grease is reqd.

Took both guns to the bush today. The MPA was a dream! I shot 100 target loads, 25 00 buck and 15 slugs. All 2 3/4 shells. Worked fantastic, no jams. Only thing is, I could only fit 2 shells in the tube 1 in the chamber? I didn't know they came with a plug? Other than that I was very impressed.

The game plug takes all of 15 seconds to remove! Unscrew the mag cap and take the plastic rod out!
