I caved.

Nice rifle. I think Ruger missed the mark not offering that stock in right handed as well and in other chamberings. I'd like something like that in 35Whelen.

^^^^^^Exactly this. I had to look for a long time to find a used Alaskan, was almost leaning towards picking up the Guide model before I finally found mine, but I would have snapped up one if those laminate Hawkeye models in an instant if they were offered in a right hand version. Killed me always seeing what I presume was the same lefty for sale on the Prophet River website forever, every time I saw it I always thought "if only it was a righty"........

they made a batch of rh action with the same laminate stock stainless open sights but with 23 inches barrel .... but jut after the guide gun appears ... so far didnt caught my eye ...

We've had these listed, off and on for a few years. Might look like the same one but sold at least a couple dozen of them. :)

I can see why you sold quite a few over that time frame, had I ever seen a righty I'd have bought it immediately. Sharp looking rifles, I like the look of that stock better than the one on the guide gun and better than the hogue on my alaskan, and like that there is no muzzle brake on it too.

All kidding aside... that is a pretty nifty and versatile rig... great all around carry rifle.
