I.D. a scope?

I found an old scope in with my dad's old stuff, and he has no idea where he got it from. It says "Ruko 3-9x40 Waterproof wide angle" on it. The lens closest to the eye swivels, and the power selector is right in front of it, which also (obviously) turns. The far end of the scope is threaded.

Any idea what it may be? Thanks in advance.

RUKO bought from everyone and had their name put on it. Probably made by TASCO or another Japanese maker at the time. Put it from about 1965 to 1985 in time period. Not what you'd call a collectible or high tech scope.....

Thanks! Another question...the reticle and lens doesn't seem to be "square" with the turrets. Is there a way to fix that?

Never mind, figured it out.....Grabbed the whole front part and turned it, now the dot on the variable dial lines up with the "3"
