I can’t find any reference in my lit to anything marked like this, dose the D (broad arrow) D mean Canadian issue. What does the “CTG” mean? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice Victory model Smith. D^D indicates Australian issue, while CTG = cartridge. As originally produced, this is in .38 S&W, different from .38 Special.
