I.D.P.A. web page

I seem to have problem getting I.D.P.A. Canada web page.

I get this message saying Internet explorer cannot display this web page.


I tried on my sister's computer and have no problems. Can anyone help me out.

I use the same browser and am having no problems. I am no computer wizzard but would guess it has something to do with your settings on your computer or within your browser.

First thing I can think of why your browser is not populating the site might be your Internet Options settings under the Security tab on "High", try bringing it down to "medium". I might be wrong, but I would start from that setting. Just my 2-cents. If you dont mind clicking the "Reset all zones to default level" or "Default Level" button under the security tab, that should populate the site. Again, it's up to you how picky you are in the setting of your browser what site you want to access.

Try another browser like firefox. Its a good idea to have two browsers just in case.

Okay, one thing I couldn't find on the IDPA website was "How do you get started?"

Is there a mandatory safety course? I've taken my Black Badge course, and shot IPSC for several years at the National and International levels. What further requirements would there be for me to shoot an IDPA match?
