For my Savage 16fss in 300WSM I load:

180 Accubonds
63 gr IMR 4350
Win mag Primers , FC Case's
COA 2.860

Now this gun with this load would shoot consistenly under an inch group after group and it dident mater if it was Febuary, april, june ,july etc... Dident matter if it was clean barrel or dirty.

I go to the range last week ,couldent get anything under 2" at 100Y ,2.5" at 200y ...........Figered it just got to be me . Go to the range last night , again NOTHING under 2 " and it is enough do Drive me Nuts.

I could shoot the 7mm Mag great last night , But why can I not get a decent group out of the 300WSM? It loved this load and now it dont seem to Whats the deal what should I do , I have 2 boxs loaded up as well

So I was looking through my book of targets from my load data and saw a few targets that grouped tight , I used 63.5 Grains of IMR4831 in that load .
So off to the loading bench I go , and loaded 6 rounds and then a box of 180 accubonds with the 63gr of IMR4350and then off to the range .

So first 2 shots with the 4350 touching flyer 2 inchs away , second group 3 touching , third 2 shots touching next shot 1.5 away and the rest of the box was like that....2 shots touching one flyer  .
But the main thing is the first shot always hit were it was saposed to , So now I look at the six rounds I loaded with the 4831 ,(3 nickel win case , 3 FC Brass case ;))
The whole time I am thinking , The first shot is the one that counts and the 4350 rounds are making the first shot count . Screw it shoot the 4831 ones off and just be happy with the 4350 ones 1"-2" group is good enough for deer

So I shoot off the 4831 ,6 in a row one after the other and F#@K all in the same Gosh Darn hole!!!!

The thing that Pisses Me off is that I have 2 boxs loaded up of the 4350 ones and they used to group tight so I never followed up the 4831 . SO I guess load up 9 more and shoot 3 groups of three .

How many consistent groups do I need to trust the load ? How groups do you do befor you trust a load?

"...NOTHING under 2"..." New can of powder? If so, it's likely a different lot number. Mind you, 2.5" at 200 isn't anything to complain about.
"...2 boxs loaded..." Of 20? Pull 'em and load 'em again.
