I don't suppose the PPQ and the P99 share magazines?

Only the latest model P99 mags work in the PPQ. The front wall of the earlier mags is too high and blocks the feed ramp. Nothing that can't be fixed with a flat file, round file and a little skill.

another option is the baby eagle its a licensed copy made buy iwi word has it that the mags are much cheaper "if" you can find them

I have three of the Magnum Research mags and they work great. They were a lot cheaper than the Walther factory mags too.
