I dont think this has been posted yet...

Hey as long as all laws are being followed, why not?

I could see this being usefull for those old timers who are condemed to a hospital bed and maybe want one more hunt. Or maybe those with disabilities who wish they could be out in the field with us. Ofcourse lazy asses will always want to partake too!

I hope woodsman doesn't see this. It will become another morally void thread

Ive heard of this before, and I really dont know what to think about it. First its good for people with disabilities. But it will get onto the hands of the lazy people who dont want to get off their ass and so something. I really dont think this is ethical hunting.

I can't support it personally. I think that the least part of hunting is the killing. I think it is a perversion of our traditions. If it's legal, i guess they'll let people do it. But i'd call it more like 'fresh meat shopping' or something. This is not hunting in the same way picking your lobster from a tank at a restaurant is not fishing.

I don't like the idea at all! Sorry, but hunting is a reason to get out of the house and enjoy the wilderness. I have also helped people with disabilities get out for a hunt. It just doesn't make sense!
Just my opinon.

The way I see it, what is the difference between picking up venison ,or beef or pork from the grocery or "orderering it over the internet"?

I don't know how to be politcally correct on this one. But to place this in a perspective for those who can't handle reality..........

This isn't hunting.:bsFlag:

IF you BELEIVE that this is hunting, then you also believe that you have a meaningful "relationship";) with WANTON_WANDA69 on that Internet chat room that required your credit card # for a membership.

Pull you head out of your a$$.:slap:

I don't think this is good for disabled people to use... its just not real hunting. You can get special permits if you are disabled to use a motor vehicle in your hunt... I don't see how this can be compared.

These animals do exist, having implanted a cip connected to an online stage, therefore, when the hunter presses “the trigger”, the cip emits an intense electric signal which kills the animal.

What the heck is a "cip" (chip?) and I doubt any cip or chip or whatever that can develop enough power to kill was implanted without surgery. And what if it doesn't kill on the first zap? The animal sure as hell can't run away.

I vote no.

OH ####.:slap:

I just assumed it was one of these remote rifle deals. I guess I should have taken the time to read the whole thing.

My bad. That ASSUME word will get you every time.

Electricution is not kosher!

This is one of the more ridiculous schemes I have come across. IMHO I don't think this is a good idea at all. As others have pointed out, this is NOT hunting! I vote NO on this one. If disabled people want to hunt there are far better ways to enjoy hunting. Also who wrote this article??? The English is terrible :puke:

Quote from website:
"Many states for USA, already interdicted by law these practices, called “online massacre over money” by the Animals Protection Association."

I can tolerate some minor misspellings, but this type of massacre of the English language just grates on the nerves.

The following website has much more info on this idea. http://jscms.jrn.columbia.edu/cns/2005-11-15/mcconnon-onlinehunting/

That is not hunting that palying a game. Where's the getting up a 3:30 and geting you buddys in a truck and going out. No phone,no women,no work if thats what hunting is going to to you won't find me there I will be in the trees.

I suppose the only reason that's legal is because it takes place on private land with privately owned animals, but as far as I'm concerned it's just wrong. If you are too lazy to get out and hunt, then watch TV or collect stamps.

I know some real good female hunters.

I wish there were more
