I have a CZ-527 .223 Varminter, that I'm using for coyotes. It's got the grey laminate stock.

I'd like to put a white covering of some sort on it, but then in the spring & fall, I'd prefer to just use it without the white.

What do you guys do for a covering, without paint?

Any pictures?

Thanks, Jim.

I used snow camo wrap that only sticks to itself, works well and leaves zero residue. I had it on a savage for two years before painting the stock. Found it at Walmart in the hunting aisle. Cost was 15 bucks or so.

double wide white hockey tape, cheap and easy, some old residue left behind but cleaned up no problem, no damage to my laminate stock

Sports tape would have a similar effect, its durable and will only stick to itself so there should be minimal residue, if any. Otherwise you could plastidip it, but I'm not sure how well that would hold up to hunting use (might be worth trying though). Last idea would be to wrap it with vinyl, but that might be tricky and could leave a lot of residue.

Gaffers tape could be an option too because it doesn't leave a sticky residue. And yes you can get it in white :)

Nobody has said it, but plenty of us take yotes without doing anything to a stock in wood, black or laminate........ I don't think your rifle not being white is a disadvantage....... I wouldn't do anything to it personally.....

^ Yeah, I get that. I mainly only want to do the front part, that would be most visible to a coyote, as I go to aim.

CZ-527 Varmint HB, .223Rem with Bushnell Legend 5-15X scope and Harris Bipod.

Before...

After. This is with a wrap of so-called 'Sports Tensor Tape', which is glorified white hockey tape.
