Start a firearms business or a museum and you can get a license to own a functional one.

Unless the museum is owned by a police force or the Department of National Defense, I don't think you are going to have live prohib firearms on display. I worked with 2 military museums that belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion, and all prohibs were deactivated. There were Brens, Stens, Thompsons, Vickers etc. all deactivated, and some were terribly deactivated. Older staff said at one time, long ago, they were live, but CFO required them all to be deactivated. Not sure when the deactivation's occurred but not a recent event.
 
You could buy an FN AR

They're ugly enough to be considered a birth control alternative, but if you're desperate enough. I've considered one.
