Shot the P226 for many years. Sold them. Did not find myself super good with them.

Got another one a few years back. Got better. And then I got this one.



Almost got rid of it... What an idiot I am. haha

Got a p226 issued lately at work. I fell in love with it. Again.

That's it. I am done. Will never get rid of my p226's again! Haha.

Tried a bunch and stuck with the P226. Perfect pistol for me. If you are looking for a cheap polymer "226 copy", look at the Sig SP2022 for around $499-569. Fantastic pistol at half the price. If you like DA/SA and great ergonomics, this is one you must try.

I am constantly having a love/hate relationship with my Sig's. I never seem to shoot them as well as others, but I love the manual of arms and I'm proficient enough stripping and assembling to be a Sig armorer by now. Then I sell, then I regret, then I buy... over and over.

The Elite Dark with the threaded barrel is a nice one. Where did you score that? I've always been into the German-made Sigs, but I'll give that one a try if I find one.

Funny how the 226 does seem to grab you...on my second, having the frame coated right now, but it's some shooter... My shadow is my pimp baby.....my 226 is my dirty girl, just loves to get down and dirty....lol

One day I got so pi$$ed off at work that I told the boss to hold my calls as I had better things to do - at the gun shop! He followed me out to P&D and then into the shop. I bought an HK 45 USP Tactical and told The Crack that when the paperwork cleared and I got my gun ... I was going to shoot the daffy bastid with it. He bought the Sig solely as a lawful citizen concerned with self defence!��

I can see why you fellas get stuck on those Sigs. They shoot like a house afire and fit like a glove. Not even a disgruntled pole cat like Yours Truly will trifle with a man armed with a Sig. To this day I tell everyone that will listen that The Crack owes his wretched life to that Sig and to our fine friends at the P&D gun shop. They are well built accurate guns.
