I finally bagged my first moose!

Well hunting brothers and sisters, I finally got him!
This is the first year I actually got the holidays I asked for and was able to go on the week long trip.
We went up north about 45min outside of Dawson Creek.I got my bull on opening day at 7:46pm.
I have to go get ready to butcher him this morning, but thought I'd share my joy with you!

It is my first year hunting as well and I got drawn for antlerless elk here in the big SK. I just moved here from Kelowna and I got drawn my first year in the draw.

Thanks for all the props guys! I have to wait for my hunting partner to give me a disc or flash drive with the pics before I can show them... But I'm still waiting for the pics from the two deer I got last year!
As for the smoke... he breathed so much smoke in He's most likely got a smokey tang to him already!
