Ruskies! I will always trust a man named Sergei when talking about Russian rifles!
Not so sure my self I'm a complete noob, but i would guess that they were never issued for combat, perhaps only for parade use or other training? Reliable Gun in Vancouver also seems to have some non-issued SKS as well, but interestingly enough the fellow I talked to at Western Rifle said that they were the only importers of SKS in Canada, i would guess that everyone else is getting theirs through Westrifle. If their Mosin Nagant price is any comparison, they are the lowest price that I have seen, which means everyone is marking them up from that price.
We are not the only importers of Russian SKS. We do sell to many other dealers and big stores. We started as a wholesale first and then opened website. I could say that we are one of the major importers of SKS in Canada. We fly and pick out our SKS on military base overseas and this is why we guarantee the quality.
On another note we will have new pinning methods that I worked for a long time and also many people here asked for. It is pinned by the follower. Very nice
