I finally broke down and bought my first crate of 7.62x39. With Christmas around the corner I went with the 720rd crate rather than the 1440, but it's a start. I'm hoping this isn't the same crap that I had jamming issues with when I was buying 100rd bundles from Canadain Tire. It looks the same. It's stamped "61" so I looked it up and apparently it's Norinco. Fingers crossed that it'll run. I'm heading out to the pit now with my trusty CZ to play!

100 cases of 762x39.. You must know something we don't :)

There is a thread "what's the appropriate amount of ammo tho have" you should tell them how it's done :)

haha well I just don't wana run short. tell you how its done call up a supplyer and ask what the price is on 100 cases. haggle a bit, then say ok. that's how its done. bought almost the same amount of 54R aswell
 
I donno what you do with all those but this is just pure win all the way. To the op, if I were you I d get the 1440 crate, it is never too much

Had a blast this afternoon with the 858. Fired off a lot of rounds. I'm thinking I'll go ahead with the 1440 crate in the very near future.

BTW, anyone else extremely happy with the accuracy of their CZ at approximately 25-30 yards? (And I mean relatively fast shooting)
 
i like my cz too , dont buy the small crates always buy the bigger one because you have the best rates per round , soon i have to buy some crates , but i really think here in edmonton i will be not able to pay what i was paying in quebec i was running à .19 $ a round of 7.62x39
 
I recommend the Czech stuff from Wolverine. 1200 rounds for $199.99
All on stripper clips.
