I finally figured out how to wrap my m6 barrels. The stainless one has about 30 feet of rope and the blued on has about 12 feet. I only half wrapped the blued gun so I can slide the rope up to clean, oil and make sure it doesn't rust. With the way I did the stained one it is almost like it is vented so the barrel can still cool. here are some before and after pics.
I still need one in 22 hornet:)

Looks good, and I'm with JITC on what he sad. You should find the post Wrong Way made about his sling for the m6.

takes a bit to get used to the trigger pull but once you get the hang of it they are really quite accurate. I can hit the gong at my club quite consitantly @100yards with the 410 slug as well as the 22lr. at 25 yrs I can get about a 1-1/2IN to 2IN group, open sights (but I am still working on it)

First shot out of my M6 in .22 Hornet when I got it, at 100m, offhand, on a 500ml Pop Bottle half filled with water yielded a nice spray of water and a gaping hole in the bottle. I have witnesses too :D :D

I was smacking gophers consistently up to 50yrds, kneeling, this past spring.

I saved the 410 Shot for the close range "Hole Peepers" while walking around.

Mine shot well with the .22 barrel, or as well as a crappy trigger system could allow anyway. But the .410 barrel wasn't regulated to hit the same POI as the rifle barrel, not even close. And using the wide "v" notch shotgun sight was no better, patterns were far to one side, enough to miss a target with the whole pattern at 20 yards. So as a single shot .22 it was OK I guess, but as a combination gun it was a POS. The M6 is an interesting concept, but poorly made IMHO.
