Picked up my S&W model 10-8 Calgary Police Service 100th anniversary commemorative. It came with the presentation box and is unfired. I'll fix that if it's nice enough out on Saturday.

What value? It's 12(6). Not much of a market for one. I only paid $280 for it. These have been kicking around this area for years and the prices haven't changed at all.

It's not a good idea to shoot guns with gold-plating, imx. Not only does it fall off, but gold has a low melting point, the carbon deposits mix with it. You might get away with it as that gun only has a bit of gold on it though.
 
Thanks cybershooters, but I am really not concerned about detracting from any potential collector value, as there is none here. It is just a very tight unfired model 10-8. Or was. I put 200 trouble free rounds through it yesterday (it got above freezing!). Hits a bit to the right with my foo-foo target loads.

I don't see this gun getting a whole lot of use. I just needed a nice K frame .38 for my collection and the price was right.
