Shooting at the range
Well I took it to the range yesterday and tried out my new SKS. This baby shoots as well as it looks and now I understand the fascination with the SKS. What a lot of fun! Bought the case of ammo for $200.00 which is approx. 0.19 cents a round. At first I didn't know if I would like the stripper clip loading procedure as I have never owned a rifle which you loaded this way, but after today have no problem with it at all. My only gripe is the 5 rd. mag capacity it would be so much better if you could load all 10rds. from the stripper clip at once. But that is the way it is. I am definitely hooked now!
