Gents, since this is the forum where the lever gun #### is, here is something you might enjoy. I've made a 2013 Calendar. Here is a photo of the cover .....

If you want to get a copy or two, go to ht**tp://www.cafepress.com/KirkD and put in your order.

BE SURE TO CHOOSE JANUARY 2013 AS YOUR STARTING MONTH, or your calendar will start on the month you order it (don't ask me how I found this out :( ). This is a quality calendar that uses a steel coil binding and the pages are heavy card stock. Those Cafe Press people do everything .... they print it as soon as you order it and they send it out. You should receive your calendar within a week of ordering it. They ship it by courier. It took about a week to get mine. Shipping is expensive, but it gets cheaper the more you order.

I make $4 per calendar and I think I sold six calendars in all of Canada last time, but it does help with the acquisition of a bullet mould or two .... or maybe even an original tang sight. I do it for the eye candy pleasure of nice lever guns.

Here's an overview of the photos for each month. Under each photo is a short caption telling a bit about that lever gun, including factory information if available. Each month features a different rifle, although this year is a little Winchester Model 1873-heavy, with three different '73s. As for Marlins, there are four of them, an original Model 94 SRC in 38-40, two original Model 1893/93's (one a deluxe) and an original Model 1889. ...

Wow - nice job! A tastefully creative Gunnut...who knew they existed. I think I will contribute to your bullet mould fund.

**edit - ** Ya, I know why pay when you can get for free. It looks cool and we gotta support fellow nutters. Besides, it's unique and better than those Nature calendars from the Bank - where my birthday month usually has the picture of a damn seagull as the feature bird or a desert with a daisy in the centre. I'll spend the year looking at quality photos of levers! I bought one.

Glad you like it, sobo4303! Hope you get a lot of pleasure all year long from that calendar. Thanks for taking the plunge and ordering one.

Any way to get some high end sxs shotguns and or double rifles instead of lever guns? I have no use for a calendar. My blackberry suffices my needs but I love sxs's. Shotgun or rifle. That I would buy

I sure do like those high end SxS shotguns and double rifles. I wish I had some to photograph! About all I can do is to drool over those photos in The Double Gun Journal.

Thank you for the heads up, it’s ordered (that’s what the webpage just said and the e-mail confirmed it). Well if you need to know who one of the six are this year one will be me. How the he77 could you only sell six calendars in Canada? You get all these wonderful comments of the pictures of your firearms and no one buys. My only problem is you don’t do a calendar every year as I have bought the previous two. I will also say the quality of the calendar is second to none, thick paper and a good binding. No one will be disappointed and it looks better that the wife’s calendar or some free one from a bank. And it sounds like you’re not going to get rich selling them.

Found: I hope you like this year's calendar as much as other years! Thanks for getting one. So far, I've sold three calendars in Canada but I posted it on some US lever gun websites and sold another 17 for a total of 20. I can understand why Canadian sales aren't through the roof ..... the shipping they charge for just one calendar is a bit expensive, but it is very fast. You are right ..... I ain't gonna get rich, but these calendars are fun to do. I've already got some beauts lined up for the 2014 calendar.

Lads, since it is mid-November, I figure it's time to see if there may be some fellows who have not seen this. So far, I've tied my previous years Canadian sales with six calendars sold across Canada. Just one more to go and I'll have established a new personal best!
