I Found One!!!

I was doing some travelling from Calgary to east-central Saskatchewan. Along the way,I stopped at various gun shops along the way. After chatting up the counter staff, I would ask if they had any Ruger SR1911's in stock. With a chuckle and a smile the answer was "No".
That was until I got to the Home Hardware in Yorkton Sk. As i walk up to their gun counter, I can see they have a nice selection of pistols. I asked the lady at the counter if they had any in stock, and lo and behold, the next minute I'm looking at a Ruger SR1911 .45 Auto.
I almost fell over!!!
Needless to say,I'm going to give it a good home....

P.S. A big thanks to Lynda!!! From payment to paperwork she had me out of there in less than an hour. Shipped it to my house and it's in my hands now!! 5 days later!!! You Rock lady!!!!

Yes sir,im from yorkton and still farm there and the home hardware is the gun store I bought my first restricted there and the next 4 lol
Their great to deal with too their just not gun experts so do your home work first.

Home hardware in Edgerton Alberta was the only place close to buy guns and reloading supplies for years when I lived there.

Of the two Home Hardware stores local to me, only one sells ammo and no guns of any sort. However the local Canadian Tire sells guns, but only non-restricted stuff. On the bright side I drive right past the front door of Elwood Epps every day on my way to and from work, so that makes up for it and then some.

I've never seen guns or ammo in my local HH. Maybe each individual store has a choice to sell or not...
