so i've been fighting with this one for a couple of weeks, from when i went in to the gun store and was talking to the staff. they showed me this girl and i've been dreaming about it for a couple of weeks. walk in to the store to do some stuff to my gfs shotgun and shes like lets see this rifle that your looking at, so i showed her and she piped up,, you should buy it.. you got the money today.. go ahead and buy it.... oh do i love her.. heres the results

and i have put a new, never used BAUSCH & LOMB 36X 40MM scope that i got off a friend
I have had it at the range with a diffrent smaller scope that i sighted in a 100 yards. I'm very happy with this, i was shooting standing shot gun shells off the taget stands one by one. in the picture below i shot two and pulled my third, the lines are 1 inch squares
i'm happy, its got a heavy barrel and muzzel break in 308, and my gf likes it because she can handel the recoil and likes hitting the 200 yard gong
