and I'm quite impressed with it's size and feel. From all the pics I've seen I always thought it was a small pistol. I have a rather large hand, and this revolver fits real nice in my big mitt. Can't wait to get here to the range. :D

PS: can this be used in a Cowboy Action Shoot, since it's an antique?

Congratulation on your new aquisition ! I never had a chance to own one :(, but I have handled one owned by a fellow gunnutz, and I loved it. The MKI as the hump ot the rear top of the grip that the MKII does NOT have, and it makes all the difference in the way to hold the gun and in the look. Nice buy!!!! rockOn:

As for the cowboy shooting, Altough those Webleys are real workhorses, I would personally be more tempted to pamper that old veteran.

I am pretty that the mkI is allowed in cowboy action shooting. I would'nt want to do too much DA fast shooting with one unless you are OK with eventually replacing the bolt and fixing up it's passage through the frame.

#### Sargent you are 100% correst that the hump on the MKI makes it a way nicer gun to hold and shoot. Points better and in DA way more control. You have to fight with a mKII to bring it back from recoil but the mkI rights itself.

Cowboy action shooting originated out of THE SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SOCIETY , so your double action antique does not fit the criteria of single action. I believe some or most local groups might allow you to participate with them but not in any sanctioned by SASS.

Thanks for the input guys. Yea, really I guess I wouldn't want to put the old girl through that much stress shooting in SASS. I've alway wanted one of these, and glad I grabbed her when I got the chance. Hope this doesn't turn into another gun bug or pistolittis....... yikes!!! :D
