Bird season starts this Saturday in NB, and bow season for whitetail on Monday. I'm so friggin anxious to get out this year, its getting out of control. I can't sleep well, I can't focus on any task not hunting related for long. I find myself pacing around my apartment, making small adjustments to my kit, inspecting my shotgun and ammo, tweaking my homemade hunting longbow, and walking laps around the outdoors section at Canadian Tire. I put my hunting coat on the other day and it still had the smell of the woods on it from last year, I had to go shoot my bow for an hour to curb the craving.
Gonna spend the whole day Saturday in the woods, hopefully a few partridge will calm me down. I'm especailly excited for the bird hunting this year. I've heard from a guy who works in the woods that he's never seen so many partridge before, so I should at least get some chances.
Anyone else got it bad?
