I Got My Antelope

Nice goat congrats to you and your son, I'm in the same boat by the time I get drawn again I will be 80 years old ( at least ) but I can't really complain as I have been drawn 4 times over the years and have filled my tag every time with respectable bucks.

Gone are the days of over the counter tags in Saskatchewan, too many hard winters and train engineers. Was common to see 60-100 head herds all over our part of the province. Now it's rare to see more a than a dozen together, so I personally leave them alone. The glorious little roasts are sorely missed though.

LOL @ the title and how the time stamp aligned perfectly to read “I got my antelope 23 minutes ago” like the OP had that as a title. I was expecting to see pics of field dressing in progress 😂

Nice job! We don’t have those things around here. What do they taste like and how does it compare to white tails from agricultural areas?

I think they taste great, a bit sweet, with a fine grain, my wife detests the smell and the taste…… we elected to get sausage made from ours, this year.
