Well if that's how we want to do it, it was a smaller 205 series tire on a minivan. I suppose if I were an ethical roadkiller I would be using at least a 265 series to alleviate the chance of a non fatal hit and resulting cripple. My bad.

Jeez!!! Everyone knows you shouldn't use a 205 on a gopher!!!! I mean just because some guys "know a guy who knows a guy" that killed one with a 165 on a geo metro once doesn't mean the average driver has good enough tire placement to humanely kill a gopher with a 205. You should be using a MINIMUM of a 265 light truck tire at a road velocity of 60km/h to humanely kill a gopher.

We'll save the debate on how heavy the vehicle should be for another time.

I'm a firm believer if your skilled behind the wheel you are indeed capable of delivering your tire, regardless of size and making a clean hit. Spend lots of time on the road and you too will be able to make good hits with small tire vehicles. I once knew this guy with a power wheelchair.....
