I'm not going to take the credit for that sentence, I could sit here trying for hours and not hit that level of incomprehensible dribble. So, feel free!
 
I too, have the 858 blues. I wish I could find a stock one on EE, but they are all heavily modded and nobody wants to sell the rifle without accessories :(
 
Get a VZ 58............. Still finding them for sale............. I wonder if prices will rise since there will be no more 858's.
 
I got lucky on guntrader you might find some there! The guy had posted the add yesterday, and I happened to be the first to see it.

Hard to say. I wouldn't go paying much more than the old prices for one. The upcoming 958 may fill the void nicely and people may regret over paying in this short term lull.

I agree, I've been wanting a 958 for ages, looks like I might be getting one at last.
 
I don't have the 858 blues. I pretty much picked up the last new one in Canada at SRFC. Its still new and unused in my gun locker. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it. Either wait for the reclassification fiasco to be over before using it or just sell it on the EE to make some coin.

What reclassification fiasco? There is so much misinformation and pure speculation flying around out there its unbelievable. I even had a call from my local gun store informing me they were now prohib and that the PTP were working on a buy back program. Since I didn't know who to believe anymore I went directly to the source and contacted Wolverine who replied immediately and were helpful. All of the 858's already in the country were approved by the CFC TWICE! 3 of the 858's in the last 2 shipments which have been returned to CZ were deemed to be prohibited. LET ME REPEAT IN THE LAST 2 SHIPMENTS! Not the 10.000 or so that were successfully imported. Based on the recent actions by the CFC and Border Services Wolverine found it impractical to make a sound business decision by attempting to continue trying to import the 858's.

Can we please make a sticky stating that there is no ongoing reclassification of the cz858?
 
Looking forward to more information on the 958 ......... like most everybody else lol. I can wait, if I know it'll be worth it.
