I got tired of pickup my brass...

So I made this brass catch. So far works quite well . Anyone else use something like this to not have to pick up your brass?

I used it the first time today. Ugly, yes. But it seems to work pretty well for catching 9mm brass. I mean its not tall enough to put on the ground, but works well on the bench. Ya, sorry, the link didn't work at first :s.

Expense? I paid... 30 -50 bucks for everything?, and little bigger then the store bought ones.

I don't know about you, but I would rather have the net then a bag hanging off my rifle. Not to mention I don't think they make them for pistols.

Brass catchers are fine for when your moving, but when shooting from a bench the net idea is a good one,

For pistol I just use mesh with a wood strip top and bottom that I clamp to the barricade post. They all land on the ground in the same spot. I made one like the Midway above but most of the brass bounces off unless it's held open (fishing net).

Same setup at one of my local range. I also have seen a fellow pinning (thumb tacks) a 4' wide mesh curtain to the roof. No tools other than a chair to climb on to fix it.
