The Sig Trailside was the same gun as the Hammerli Exesse...anyone know if Sig still markets these ?

No, Sig Trailside was discontinued several years ago.

That's the only place in North america where you can buy it new, so if that's what their price it, that's what their price is. I think I paid around $1100 total for the pistol, 2 spare mags, taxes and shipping in the summer.

How does the X-esse stack up in comparisson to the Beretta Target 87?

Anyone have experience with one or both?
